Classroom Education Kits
A New Direction
As of June 1, 2016 ConservingNow had distributed many hundreds of classroom education kits across the nation. We are grateful for so many who joined us in our goal of educating the next generation of environmental stewards. Education is key to reducing plastic bag use.
Instead, we are redirecting our efforts and increasing the educational impact. We’ve launched a new initiative: ConservingNow EnviroGrants for Teachers. We are inviting applications from teachers to be considered for funding of a classroom project that will educate students on sustainable living and being more earth-friendly. Each week, we will award one grant of $100 to one teacher to help cover the winning project’s cost.
We invite you to join us by learning more and spreading the word. On average, your purchase of a single reusable bag helps educate one child about the environmental harms of single-use disposable plastic.
You Can Help
Your simple actions can make a huge difference.
Spread the word about our mission to educate children, families and individuals about the environmental and health costs we pay for the convenience of using plastic products. #BagsForEducation #OneBagOneChild
